altho i don't burn many GD CDs, if and when i do, the method is quite simple: (1) i strip out all songs that have Keith or Donna or Brent or Vince as the main vocalist; (2) then, i strip out anywhere from 70% to 100% of the Bobby songs; and (3) i kill off drums/space and burn what's left; admittedly, since 95% of the GD CDs that i actually might burn are between the years '66-'72, or '79-'82, Vince is not really an issue, and Brent only sporadically

Ha ha ! Wow , no 73-78 ! To each their own ! But I have to admit , some of your criteria , fit what I might cut from a show ! Since I do listen to all years, I have more opportunities to prune songs out , if need be . I usually read the reviews, especially the Taper's Guide books, then see what I want to do . Something that is considered great by all, I usually just go ahead and get the whole thing . If it is a good to so-so show, I might also get the whole thing, or yank a few songs ( your criteria again), or just make a highlights cd . Sometimes I vary what I take out ; drums>space can look like attractive pulls, but it is sometimes the best part of a show ! But "Easy Answers", "Looks Like Rain", sometimes a weak "Ship of Fools" etc. are good choices for me , and I pounce on Welnick's songs ... poor Vince .
